Mechanical Skeleton Watch

These are mechanical skeleton steel watches. Like all mechanical watches, it must be wound daily to keep time. When winding you want to be sure not to overwind so you just want to wind enough until you feel some pressure. A number of models have a visible spring coil which you can see tighten up as you wind so when the spring is all coiled up, you know you are close to being fully wound. That watch will need to be wound on a daily basis. The watch will no longer feel just like any watch since the added involvement of the winding causes a greater affinity to and appreciation of the watch you are wearing.
